  • Explain critical concepts of the core subjects and give a detailed analysis of Past Exam Questions
  • Develop students’ examination skills and answering techniques, especially on application questions
  • Share his/her first-hand experiences and strategies in the public exam
  • Evaluate and grade students’ work

Course date: After-school Sessions from Mar to Jun 2024
Course duration: 1.5-2 hours
Course size: 2-4 students for each session

The College is seeking for a Visual Arts Tutor to deliver a face-to-face Enrichment Program for Visual Arts to F.6 students, with the aim of fostering their artistic development and enhancing their chances of success. The program will run from October 2023 to January 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Explain Visual arts concepts and provide a detailed analysis of SBA and portfolio concepts
  • Develop students’ portfolio skills and drawing techniques, with a specific focus on exam skills

中文辯論隊導師服務23-24年度

本校有意於本學年邀請導師指導學生、參加學界辯論賽。歡迎個人或教育機構來函提供上述服務。詳情如下﹕

一、服務內容

  • 每星期一節常規課程,時間由4:00-5:30p.m.;
  • 教授及指導隊員分析辯題、收集資料、撰寫辯稿、模擬對辯等;
  • 訓練隊員在聽、說、讀、寫以及批判思維的能力;
  • 帶領隊員參與學界辯論比賽;

二、服務日期

2023年10月至2024年8月,常規課程及對外比賽約110節課

三、導師資歷

  • 現役或前大專辯論員;
  • 曾任職中學辯論隊一年以上;
  • 熟悉學界大型賽事規則;
  • 樂於和年青人相處

Coaching Service for the English Debate Team (New Closing Day)

To ensure the sustainable development of the English Debate Team, we are looking for a dedicated and committed English debate coaching service provider who can equip our students with essential debating and communication skills for the academic year 2023-2024.


Responsibilities

The debate coach’s role is to:

  • hold weekly practice sessions from 3.45 pm to 5.15 pm;
  • teach team members, who are junior form students, debating techniques, such as formulating arguments, making rebuttals and critical reasoning;
  • develop debaters’ oral communication skills, such as fluency, posture & gestures, stress and intonation;
  • sustain participants’ interest in the intellectual activity;
  • coach students for external competitions; and
  • assist in organising and adjudicating debate competitions.

Service Period: October 2022 -- April 2023 (tentatively 10 to 15 sessions)


Experience

We require someone who:

  • has extensive experience in local and/or international debating competitions;
  • has a thorough understanding of different debating formats, such as the Local Schools Style, the World Schools Style and the British Parliamentary Style;
  • has preferably debate coaching experience at the secondary school level;
  • is knowledgeable about socioeconomic issues; and
  • displays a high command of the English language.
