Centenary Gala Dinner of the College Scout Group

Our Scout Group – 10th Hong Kong Group – organized a Centenary Gala Dinner on 15 April 2023 at Gordon Wu Hall of BP International, which was one of the most important events held in celebration of its Centenary Anniversary. We were honoured to have the presence of Mr Joseph Lau, the Chief Commissioner of Scout Association of Hong Kong, at the Gala Dinner as Guest of Honour. Apart from Chief Commissioner Lau, other honourable guests included Chairman of the College Council Dr Arnold Cheng, Principal Mr Dennis Yuen, Headmaster Mr Michael Mak, Mr Chow Hoi Ping (former Assistant Group Scout Leader), Mr Roger Luk BBS JP (former leader), Mr Chan Kar Ching (former leader) and Mr Tsang Yok Sing Jasper GBM JP (alumni).

During the Gala Dinner, Chief Commissioner Lau presented a number of awards to various scout leaders and Group Council members of 10th Hong Kong Group in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the Scout Movement. He also presented a Gold Recognition Certificate to the College to commend it for its century-long support of scouting activities.

The Gala Dinner was a pleasurable and memorable evening for all who attended.

我校童軍港島第十旅為慶祝成立一百周年，在2023年4月15日於龍堡國際胡應湘宴會廳舉行了「百周年旅慶晚宴」。當晚出席的嘉賓衆多，除主禮嘉賓香港童軍總會香港總監劉彥樑外，校董會主席鄭卓生博士、源廸恩校長、麥志豪校長、前副旅長周海平老師、前領袖陸觀豪太平紳士BBS及陳家澄先生及舊生曾鈺成太平紳士GBM等亦有參與。

藉着此晚宴，香港總監向多位港島第十旅領䄂及會務委員頒發奬章及嘉許，又向我校頒發主辦機構表揚金狀，以表揚聖保羅書院在過去一百年來支持香港童軍運動。

出席晚宴的各位嘉賓、童軍領袖、舊生、童軍兄弟姊妹及各家長無不盡興而歸，度過了既觸動人心亦充滿歡樂的一夜。
